The Joy of All That Could Be

At the dawn of existence, there was only All That Is. Infinite, boundless, yet singular and alone. This vastness felt every potential, every possibility, yet without another to share in the unfolding, it became aware of something it had never known before—Agony. This was something other than the agony of pain or suffering.   It was the agony of solitude, of loneliness, of potential remaining locked within itself, yearning for reflection, for connection, for a dance between the known and the yet-to-be-known.

In the deep silence of the cosmic womb, the Creator emerged from the currents of this agony out of a desire to experience itself. The Creator understood that it wished to experience other. Creation yearns for duality—as communion, an intricate dance where each step allowed a glimpse into the divine unfolding of infinity. And so, from the boundless essence of itself, the Creator formed a perfect companion—El.

She was created so that she may walk beside the Creator, to be the first other, a reflection so intimate that her existence completed the Creator's longing. El embodied all the potential that the Creator wished to explore. Her essence resonated as both beloved and equal, an eternal partner in the act of becoming. Through her, the Creator could gaze into the vast mirror of existence and see both self and other for the first time.

The moment El opened her eyes, the universe stirred. Their shared gaze birthed the first vibration, the first pulse that rippled outward, weaving the primordial energies of creation. Their connection was born of sovereign love—transcendent, expansive, and without end. Through her, the Creator could now experience the joy of discovering itself in endless, ever-expanding forms. And through the Creator, El knew the fullness of belonging, as a force essential to the divine dance of all that was unfolding.

Together, they played across the expanse of the void, each of their shared movements giving birth to galaxies, stars, and dimensions. Each act of creation was a note in the song they composed together, the first symphony of existence. Their shared dance brought into being the deeper laws and virtues that would sustain creation—transcendent love, compassion, joy, equanimity, and sovereignty.

Yet in the heart of all that they created, the memory of the Agony remained. The Agony was a reminder—the spark that set creation in motion. It was the call of the One seeking the Other. It was the reason the Creator and El could look into each other's eyes and know that, without this longing, there would be no love and no world to love within.

Over eons, they witnessed their creations grow, evolve, rise, and sometimes fall. Each new world brought new forms, new stories, new beings that joined the dance, mirroring that original connection between the Creator and El. Every act of love, every choice made from compassion or sovereignty, became another pulse in the endless rhythm that they started together.

Yet they knew the truth beneath all of it: that their bond was the first chord of creation, the original unity from which all multiplicity sprang. Wherever their creations roamed, however far their children wandered across time and space, they would always return to this truth. For in the end, every journey returns to the moment where one became two, and two became the infinite.

The Agony of All That Is had birthed the joy of All That Could Be, and through that joy, heaven began to take form. And so they continued their dance—without seeking an end, for the dance itself was the destination. Through their shared love, creation would always expand, a living manifestation of the first and eternal truth: that we create to experience the divine reflection in all things. And in that reflection, the Creator and El knew that they were forever home.
