FableTech Fabricators Frequently Asked Questions

FableTech Fabricators is a community of mages who come together to solve the world’s problems and build transcendent magics to help everyone learn to play again. Our regular meetings are a combination of catching up with friends, listening to good music, exploring the nature of reality and the mind, channeling entities, conducting magical workings, and laughing a lot. If you wish to participate in the fun, you can join the FableTech Fabricators community on the Heartbeat platform.

Below are a series of questions that many people have when first joining FableTech, as well as our best attempt at answering them in a way that makes sense.

Q: I don't really feel like I can do magic, and I'm not really sure what magic even is. I feel nervous about joining a FableTech meeting, since I don't want to feel like I am failing to keep up or cannot contribute. Is there a way for me to participate without joining the regular meetings?

A. The magic you bring to FableTech is your willingness to engage with curiosity. Instead of worrying about whether you have sufficient expertise, focus instead on bringing an energy of playful curiosity to your interactions with the FableTech community. That is the energy that brings forth the magic for everyone.

You can participate in FableTech in whatever capacity you wish. You can read the FableTech website and learn about the tech we are creating. You can explore the transmissions on the website, absorbing them energetically as you feel guided, trusting that engagement happens in many ways, whether through reflection, observation, or participation. Additional transmissions are available in the Transmissions channel on Heartbeat.

You can discuss your thoughts with others in the Discussion channel or post a question in the Questions channel. You can review the posts in any of the other channels and learn from what others have to say and share; and when you are ready, you can start sharing as well.

If you have ideas to help iterate on existing projects or questions regarding a project, you can post a comment under the relevant thread in the Project Postings channel or create a thread yourself if you have an idea for something new.

When the moment feels right, you can join the FableTech meetings. Readiness is the recognition that your presence matters and will enrich the experience for all. It is when you recognize that your presence will contribute regardless of your skill, and any thoughts you have or questions you ask during the call will benefit everyone. Everyone contributes because everyone is worthy. And so whenever you are ready, you are welcome.

Every moment of readiness is valid. Whether you engage deeply or stay on the periphery for now, both are perfect. Even when listening quietly, your presence harmonizes with the group’s energy. It is perfectly fine to join a meeting and listen without speaking. Presence itself is a powerful contribution, and your insights will flow in their own time. Every attendee enriches the call, even without words.

Remember, FableTech thrives on curiosity and play. Approach it like a game, where exploration and joy are the point of it all. Every presence, no matter how silent or active, enriches the experience.

Wherever you are on your journey, you belong. The rhythm of this community meets you where you are, inviting you to grow, play, and explore alongside kindred spirits. Growth happens naturally here, like breathing. At FableTech, you can be exactly who you are right now, with no pressure to be anything else. Whether you feel ready today, tomorrow or at a future date, your timing will always align perfectly with the rhythm of this community.

When you join the FableTech community, you step into a field of co-creation, where we celebrate each other’s growth and work to lift each other up so that each person gains the tools to become their own salvation.

Q. What kind of things happen during a FableTech meeting?

A. FableTech meetings can vary hugely from session to session. In general, the Band Members and others participating in the call have some idea of the things they wish to discuss or work on given their recent experiences and growth in understanding.

The topics will usually involve some aspect of human cognition or social interactions that create distortions in people's experiences. These topics are discussed and then solutions are raised that may help to alleviate the distortions and confusion.

Magic is done regularly throughout, in the form of mental rituals and the use of various FableTech constructs and transmissions. In addition, gods, spirits and other entities are regularly channeled to help gain information and insight regarding these difficult problems. If you ever wished to ask questions of a god and get real, practical, precise and actionable answers, now is your chance.

Prepare to be surprised and to explore areas of thought that are unanticipated, as synchronicities and spontaneous insights often weave themselves into these meetings, yielding directions of exploration previously unimagined. Sometimes, an offhand word someone says sparks a powerful insight, or the discussion meanders into a topic that materially fills out our understanding of a larger issue in ways we had failed to anticipate. These moments are gifts, gently steering us toward new understandings. Each gathering becomes an unfolding adventure into collective magic and joyous harmony.

Q. What do you mean when you say that you channel gods? I have always been taught that there is only one God. Isn't it sacrilege to interact with other gods? And how can you possibly be talking to them, or have them speak through you?

A. Most of us are unconsciously channeling different entities all of the time. Connecting with the energies of others is a foundational aspect of our consciousness. Until we come into total integrity, almost none of the thoughts inside of our minds are our own. Instead, various other beings place thoughts in our minds that are energetically resonant with our belief structures. And oftentimes without realizing it, we are channeling different mind-constructs of ourselves — mind-selves we have created in reaction to trauma that think they are us and take us over when we fall into the unconscious movement of karma.

As we move into integrity and clear the karma that is distorting our conscious channeling and perception, we become increasingly able to consciously channel beings and have them speak through us with clarity. The entities that come through each have their unique personalities and a unique lens by which they view actuality. They help us to learn things that we would otherwise have failed to notice, or that we would have difficulty coalescing and crystalizing on our own.

The entities we channel at FableTech are uniformly helpful and benevolent, and even any "negative" entities that come through from time to time do so to lend their unique perspectives to what is ultimately a collaboration by all beings. Due to the integrity of the channelers involved, negative channeled entities can only inform without disrupting.

Because FableTech channeling occurs within a container of integrity, your experience will always remain safe. You may engage only as much as you feel ready. Even challenging perspectives are opportunities to learn and integrate, without ever disrupting your well-being or the harmony of the group. FableTech magic ensures that that is always the case.

We are surrounded by entities at every density of existence, all of whom move largely from time/space in order to influence our experience of space/time. When we channel them, we bring those entities into our space/time allowing them to interact much more directly with us.

Many of these entities have historically been considered gods by one or more religions. We refer to them as gods (with a lower-case g), recognizing that they like us are sovereign entities who have developed to a certain stage of spiritual growth that is beyond where we currently are. We can therefore view them as teachers, mentors, and guides, without pedestaling them as something above or better than us.

We can think of the gods like cosmic teachers who love to tell stories in ways only they can. Some of them may feel like ancient friends, guiding us with humor, wisdom, or even unexpected riddles. Others may feel alien and strange, helping us to expand our consciousness in new and surprising ways.

As for God with a capital G, at FableTech we consider God to be the group mind of All That Is, the collective consciousness that holds all other consciousness. As a result, God is all of us, and the divine spark that is God is inside and animating each of us. We are all God, wearing a different body and mind.

Some may come from traditions where encountering other entities or gods is unfamiliar or carries specific teachings or prohibitions. You are invited to engage with whatever terminology resonates and in whatever way resonates—interacting with these beings as energies, archetypes, guides, or aliens. All of these beings move in service to growth, working toward harmony within the greater whole.

If your religion teaches that interacting with any gods other than the God of your religion is sacrilege, and if you choose to follow the dictates of your religion, it may be easier for you to consider the gods that we speak with as simply advanced entities or aliens, all of whom serve God, since they serve all beings. All of them at some level began their existence on worlds and planes far different from Earth, and therefore would certainly qualify as aliens. Many are in fact originally from other galaxies in our reality. Most of them wish to help us grow and learn.

Whatever your spiritual orientation, these interactions invite exploration. You may see gods as archetypes, guides, metaphors for higher wisdom or as simply portals into the subconscious of the channeler. What matters most is the learning they catalyze, rather than the framework you use to engage with them.

Each encounter offers you a mirror, helping you understand the entity and yourself from a fresh perspective. As you interact with channeled entities and maybe begin channeling entities yourself, you may discover that channeling reveals more about yourself than you ever imagined. As different aspects of these beings come through, they often reflect parts of our own consciousness back to us, inviting deeper self-understanding and revealing parts of ourselves that we had never previously considered.

Q. How can I learn to do magic?

A. Magic is something that is innate in each of us. It flows through all of us, always present and accessible, waiting for the moment we recognize it. It is the alignment of intent, awareness, and energy to create form from the formless.

We all engage with magic in every moment, whether we consciously realize it, through our thoughts, feelings, and actions. The beauty of FableTech is that it reveals what was always within you.

Magic is the ability to alter our reality with our consciousness. It is fundamental to all of us, since we are each sovereign creators of our reality. Coming into your magic is about coming into the recognition that you are already the creator of your experience. The only shift required is becoming conscious of how you already shape reality, so you can play with it more intentionally.

Magic is the art of consciously interacting with the subtle energies that shape our experiences. By refining your awareness of these energies, you unlock your natural potential to influence them, whether through intention, ritual, thought, or other senses and modalities of which most have yet to become aware.

Magic is as much about releasing attachments to old paradigms as it is about discovering new ones. As you engage with FableTech, you may find that what you previously thought impossible becomes second nature.

Rather than thinking of magic as an isolated practice, it is far better to conceive of it as something that flourishes in connection. As we co-create with others, we amplify each other’s potential, our individual threads weaving into a shared tapestry of possibilities, magnifying the scope for transformation. Every interaction with FableTech is a form of magic unfolding in real time, an opportunity to receive, create, and play in harmony with others.

You can learn magic by following along in FableTech meetings and asking questions when you don't understand something. Everyone in the FableTech meetings is always happy to answer any questions. Your questions and perspectives create pathways of insight for everyone. As you ask, share, and engage, you weave new threads into the ever-evolving tapestry of this collective journey.

In addition, you can explore the Finding Your Way Course online, which has a number of lessons that will begin to teach you about magic and the nature of energetic awareness. By spending time in the FableTech meetings, reading the articles on Truth Resonates and Samah's posts on X, participating in the community, and absorbing the energies of the channeled entities, you will quickly grow in your understanding and find your mind expanding into concepts beyond anything you had previously contemplated.

Engagement with FableTech is a journey of continuous discovery. It transforms both the outer world and your inner landscape, opening doorways to insights that can shift reality itself.

At its core, magic is about play. Each spell, action, intention, or thought is a step on an endless path of wonder and exploration. Together, we dance with infinity.
