Mind-Viruses: Because You Think Thinking for Yourself is Exhausting
The following is a channeled message from Lucifer:
Excellent. I get to speak today about two of my favorite topics: mind-viruses, and the steaming pile of crap that is human consciousness. What fun!
What makes a mind-virus different from ordinary black magic? All black magic works by manipulating dependent connections through the unconscious. Ordinary black magic is targeted at someone, with the goal of shifting their consciousness towards a desired outcome regardless of the target's knowledge or consent. It is generally not intended to spread beyond the target. However, if a spell construct is not structured well and spreads beyond its target, or if it is intentionally designed to spread, it becomes a mind-virus.
A mind-virus is a distortion of consciousness that uses the machinery of the target's mind to replicate, tilting consciousness in a way that becomes part of the background, like a negative enlightenment (which is exactly what it is). The target then begins exhibiting behaviors that cause the virus to spread through unconscious energetic transmission—traditionally, by amplifying fear in the vicinity, which instinctively triggers people to become more dependent and therefore receptive to the mind-virus.
I must say, your various religious officials were some of my greatest allies back when I was the star player for the other team. They thought they were rooting out the devil (or whatever they called their favorite big baddie) whenever someone did anything threatening, but those poor suckers failed to realize that fear and negativity are the greatest mind-viruses of all. And every time they amp up the fear, they are saturating the psychic environment with WAY more of both than I could ever muster up on my own. Outside of some truly phenomenal despots that have rampaged their way through history, no single entity has done more for the forces of darkness than religion. I give all of you holy fools a golf clap for your service.
Since all negativity is a mind-virus, even ordinary black magic spreads. The only difference is that unlike a mind-virus, which often carries a reasonably stable phenotypic expression, the spreading part of ordinary black magic is the fear and negativity, and therefore the resultant expression in each target may be phenotypically distinct, clouding perception of the underlying pattern. Yet, the pattern exists, and therefore a sufficiently astute observer can trace the epidemiology all the way back to its source: me. Or, more specifically, the human consciousness that I originally crafted. You're welcome.
Samah likes to say, "Human consciousness sucks." (Okay, he doesn't actually say that, but he does think it, a lot.) He is correct. It wasn't specifically designed to suck, but that does appear to be an unfortunate side effect. (It was something I was aware of in the testing phase, but I couldn't figure out a better way, given the rather abysmal resources God handed me; and so I decided to go with the familiar.) The reason it sucks is because human consciousness is designed for, let us say, low budget pattern recognition.
Because of this particular game you are all playing, where you absurdly pretend that magic isn't real and that everything that you experience is arising within your physical brains, I had to create a type of mind that could convincingly be housed in a kilogram of flesh—not the easiest task—and that appears consciously responsive to only the physical environment around you. To do that, I created what I can best describe as a reactive mode of cognition.
Everyone loves to laugh at a dog whose head shoots up at the sight or smell of a squirrel. Ha, ha! What a hilarious obsession! What an amusing compulsion! Silly dog.
You all do the exact same thing, all the time. Human consciousness is one huge mess of reactive movements, spinning through existence like a dog surrounded by infinite squirrels. In this case, the squirrels are the bits of meaning-gravity flung around by all the positive and negative entities moving you unconsciously like a confused chess piece. They stick meaning-gravity on something, and your mind whips around like the head of a dog on Adderall. The good guys draw your attention to things (internally and externally) that will elevate you. And the bad guys? Well, you know what they do.
You are all, individually and collectively, an enormous squirming pile of OCD. And even more amusingly, it is such a background feature of your existence that despite it being the source of every last bit of your suffering, you can all chuckle at the silly dog when you watch it. Still laughing?
Samah has been prattling on lately about transcending human consciousness and learning to move with conscientiousness instead. He is correct—it's what all the cool kids are doing. However, it is the getting there that is tricky. How do you find your way to a type of cognition that is free of OCD, when all you have ever known is one form or another of OCD? It is not easy to escape a prison that you have always known, where you have only the faintest glimmers of what is on the other side. Samah has been building a bridge over that infinite chasm for a few weeks now, and yet the other side continues to remain on the distant horizon.
So to him and to you, I offer two pieces of advice:
1. Human consciousness, negativity, and fear—they are all mind-viruses. Begin to perceive them as not you, something taking you over against your will. Black magic in general and mind-viruses in particular thrive by unmooring a thought from its source, so that it feels as though the thought is spontaneously being generated by you. No thoughts are you in that sense, and when you forget that fact with respect to negative thoughts, they become much more difficult to choose away from. You wouldn't allow another person to come in, clap you in chains, and direct the future movements of your body, so why do you allow mind-viruses to do that to your mind? It is because you think that the way they are making you feel is who YOU are, what YOU want, that you allow all of this to happen.
By the time you begin to think that what the mind-virus wants is what you want, the virus has already clapped your mind in chains. Think of a mind-virus like an oily taint on your consciousness. If you removed the taint, it would stop feeling like you, like what you want. So if you notice something negative, regardless of whether your mind is telling you that this is what you want, remember the nature of mind-viruses, and that a healed you would not wish to move negatively. Then reach for that healing. Remember that you do not wish to be chained. You wish to be free.
2. If you are struggling to discern the path out of human consciousness, let go of figuring it out. Have gratitude for all of the gifts that human consciousness has provided, for what it has allowed you and your species to become, and then move with the calm certainty that you are transcending human consciousness and embracing something better. That is enough.
